Rav Tanenbaum currently serves as the Rosh Yeshiva of the new Canadian Yeshiva & Rabbinical School in formation. He is retired from Beth Tzedec where he conceptualized and implemented the Jewish Personal Trainer (JPT) Programme, initiated the STEP Pray-and-Learn Services, and administered the Beth Tzedec Life-Long Learning Centre. He is past president of the Rabbinical Assembly-Ontario Region. He has authored two books, most recently a commentary on the Shabbat Morning Service, Rinat Dodim, A Song of Lovers, and holds two honorary doctorates. Rabbi Tanenbaum is Dean of the RA School for Shamashim and teaches "Principles of Prayer" both years.

Rabbi Wayne Allen has co-authored one book and edited two others. He has served as president of the Toronto Board of Rabbis and is active in a wide range of community affairs. In 2003 Rabbi Allen was a recipient of a Doctorate of Divinity Honoris Causa bestowed on him by the Jewish Theological Seminary. A dedicated and respected teacher, Rabbi Allen chairs the School's Committee of Overseers and teaches "Principles and Procedures" one year, "Practica" the other.

Rabbi Seed currently serves as the president of the Rabbinical Assembly, Ontario Region and also is a member of several committees of the international RA. He holds an MSW from Columbia University and has a particular interest in tikkun olam work at Adath Israel and in the community.  Rabbi Seed teaches our d'var Torah programme using Rashi and Pirkei Avot.

As a graduate of the School for Shamashim in its inaugural year, Sidney has gone on to pursue a career as a cantor. He holds an Honours B.A. in Jewish studies from York University and is currently about to enter his fourth year of cantorial studies at the Jewish Theological Seminary. Having an Ashkenazi and Iraqi Jewish background, Sidney is passionate about the nusah and cantillation systems of various Jewish musical traditions. An experienced teacher, Sidney shares his hazzanish expertise teaching the Nusah and "Trop" programmes.

A granduate of Associated Hebrew Day Schools and CHAT, Michael Rubin resided in Israel for 18 years before becoming one of Toronto's favourite Bar/Bat Mitzvah teachers. Michael serves as Ritual Director at the Beth David since June 2004, responsible for running the daily minyanim, serving as Ba’al Keri’ah and Ba’al Tefillah when required, Hazzan Sheini and Ba’al Teki’ah on the Yamim Nora’im and conducting the Havurah Service. Michael, a beloved teacher in our school, will assist as mentor in our Nusah and "Trop" programme and will teach in the area of pedagogy.
